The following works of fiction are part of a collective called “Sometimes I Bleed.” Each short horror story is inspired by American abnormal psychology. The subject matter is often gruesome or exploitative, and the reader should feel a guttural sense that they are experiencing something they shouldn’t see. Therein lies the mysterious tether between fear and an acute fascination with tragedy.
